Open the bonnet of the CITIGOᵉ iV and you’ll find a 61 kW electric motor powering the front wheels. The second part of the system features a 36.8 kWh battery in the chassis floor, of which 32.3 kWh can be used. Enjoy every drive with the nimble CITIGOᵉ iV, offering torque of up to 212 Nm from standstill. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.3 seconds and has a top speed of 130 km/h. Extend the range by selecting the ECO or ECO+ mode to influence the vehicle settings, the air-conditioning, the heating and other systems.
You can easily charge your batteries at home or on the road with special chargers. Using a conventional household outlet with maximum power of 2.3 kW, you can use the standard-fit cable to charge the CITIGOᵉ iV to 80% of its battery capacity in 12 hours and 43 minutes. By a 7.2 kW wallbox and the corresponding cable recharging will take just four hours and fifteen minutes. Both of these charging methods use AC, which is what you will find in your household sockets.
If you have set off on a trip and you need to recharge quickly, use a third type of charger, the CCS (Combined Charging System), which uses DC to deliver much more power – as much as 40 kW. A fast charger will recharge a flat battery to 80% capacity in just one hour. A fast charger always includes a charging cable.
The compact CITIGOᵉ iV offers a host of safety features. Occupants are protected by 6 airbags that work in tandem with the seat belts. The Isofix and Top Tether systems are used to improve the protection of children in infant carriers. If an accident is unavoidable, passengers are protected by the rigid body structure, the front and rear parts provide maximum energy absorption. ESC, ABS and many other systems also keep an eye on the car when it is on the go.
Inching forward a bit at a time, lane switching, etc. The CITIGOᵉ iV’s job is to make this easier for you. Lane Assist recognises any unintended departure from the lane and initiates corrective steering. It is activated if there are recognisable lane markings on the road surface and the turn signal has not been turned on.
The CITIGOᵉ iV´s excellent manoeuvrability makes parking child’s play. Three parking sensors integrated into the rear bumper offer assistance by checking the car’s distance from any obstacles.
