Battery electric vehicles rely solely on electric motors for propulsion. They derive their electricity primarily from charging points and store it in powerful battery packs. The key benefits of electric vehicles are that they emit no emissions and run silently.

Thanks to the turbocharging, motor has ample power in low rpm, where it is used for most of the time. In the lower rpm range, the engine is also quieter and features lower fuel consumption and emissions. Direct fuel injection enhances the efficiency of burning fuel and contributes to lower fuel consumption and thereby also to lower CO₂ emissions.

During braking, the kinetic energy is transformed into heat, which is then uselessly radiated into the environment. To help you get part of this energy back, we’ve developed the brake energy recovery system, which uses an intelligent alternator to store the energy in the battery during deceleration and then uses it to lower the engine load by the alternator, reducing fuel consumption.

Right choice of gear ratio can save fuel and increase drive comfort at the same time. Lower engine speeds result in lower fuel consumption and quieter engine operation. A symbol on the display in the instrument cluster confirms the right choice of gear ratio or recommends changing it up or down.

When a vehicle is stationary, the engine continues to consume fuel and emit pollutants. This is where the Start-Stop system comes in, automatically switching the engine off when the car is at standstill, thereby instantly reducing fuel consumption. The Start-Stop system is activated automatically after the engine starts and can be manually switched off at any time.
